A Brief History of the Building

1902:  Andrew Carnegie gave $30,000 to the city to build the library.

1903-1905:  The library was built.

1966:  A new children's room was added.

1982-1990:  Long-term renovations were completed.

1988:  An addition was attached to the side of the building.
