A Brief History of the Building

1902:  Andrew Carnegie gave $20,000 to the town to build the library.

1903-1904:  The library was built.

1915:  The building was wired for electricity.

2000-2001:  An addition was built.

This building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
